Generals add Stobbs to ’10 roster

University of Tampa junior Evan Stobbs will be returning to Waynesboro for another Valley League summer with the Generals in 2010.

Stobbs has a 0.48 ERA in 13 relief appearances for the Spartans in 2010. The righty was an honorable-mention selection to the All-Sunshine State Conference team announced this week.

In 2009 in Waynesboro Stobbs had a 1-1 record in 14 appearances (one start) with a 3.27 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched.

Stobbs also hit .245 with a home run and 12 RBI in 53 at-bats as a position player for the Generals in ’09.
