Aggies Continue to Ride Back to Waynesboro

Two New Mexico State Aggies will follow the steps of many of their past and present teammates as they ride into Waynesboro this summer. The Generals are excited to welcome infielder Bruno Teramoto and left-handed pitcher Andrew Edwards.

Bruno Teramoto – Infielder

A native of Indiaiatuba, San Paulo, Brazil, the 5’10 180-pound junior makes his way to Las Cruces, New Mexico as way of Glendale Community College. Teramoto was a unanimous first-team all-conference and gold glove winner during his sophomore campaign as he helped lead Glendale CC to a 33-10 record and 16-4 mark in conference play. Teramoto posted a .377 batting average with 13 doubles, 1 triple, 5 home runs, 16 stolen bases, along with 25 runs scored and 42 RBI’s. Teramoto currently yields a .296 batting average with 6 RBI’s, 2 doubles and 1 triple early into his New Mexico State campaign.

 

Andrew Edwards – Left-Handed Pitcher

A native of Tucson, Arizona, the 6-2 220-pound junior came New Mexico State as way of Central Arizona College. During his two seasons at Central Arizona, Edwards made 31 appearances over 73.1 innings pitched. During the 2016 campaign, he posted a 5-1 record with 1 save, allowing 53 hits and striking out 57 batters. During his 2017 campaign, he recorded 2 saves with 28 strikeouts. Edwards has logged 9.0 innings and 8 strikeouts early into his New Mexico State career.
