Knights Come Back to Waynesboro

Waynesboro, Virginia
The University of Central Florida Knights will continue their long partnership with the Generals this summer. UCF currently has a stout record of 30-19 and just picked up a huge road win against Miami this week. Look for the Knights to make a run in the NCAA Regionals and beyond. Much like they did last year, the Knights will send a middle infielder. The duo of Jackson Webb and Dalton WIngo was one that paid major dividends for Waynesboro, and management hopes that this summer could be more of the same. Please welcome to Waynesboro, Pedro Castellano!

Pedro Castellano – Middle Infielder

Pedro is the son of Martha Bracho and Pedro Castellano. He’s a junior from Davenport, Florida and Faith Baptist Christian Academy. Pedro spent two seasons at South Florida State College before transferring to UCF. At South Florida State, he was tabbed as a First Team All-Conference performer in both of his years there. He had 10 homers and 64 RBI to help him grab those post-season accolades. Pedro has found himself on an extremely talented UCF squad and hasn’t seen a ton of at-bats. This summer will be one to build on his game and compete for a starting role next year. We’re excited to welcome Pedro Castellano!
