Rain, rain, go away: Generals games rescheduled
Stormy weather has pushed two scheduled Waynesboro Generals home games back a little later into June.
The game with Staunton that was to have been played Monday night has been rescheduled for Monday, June 18, with a 7 p.m. first pitch.
That game had originally been slated to have been the Generals’ home opener on June 1, but it was rained out that night, too.
The game that had been on the schedule for Tuesday night with Rockbridge is now scheduled for Monday, June 25, at 7 p.m.
Waynesboro is still scheduled to host three games this week – Thursday night against Staunton, Saturday night against New Market and Sunday night against Harrisonburg.
Those games are, of course, all weather-permitting.
