Two Golden Falcons Headed to Waynesboro

WAYNESBORO, Va. – Anthony Lamar and Julian Uejima are joining the Generals for the 2023 season from Felician University

Lamar heads to the Valley after his first season at the New Jersey institution. A native of Freeeport, N.Y., Lamar saw action in 48 games, primarily behind the plate, and recorded a .333 batting average along with five home runs and 34 runs driven in. Lamar landed on the CACC All-Tournament after going 7-for17 during the conference tournament.

Uejima also completed his first season at Felician. Uejima saw action in 45 games in the infield recording a .269 average with 36 RBI. The River Edge, N.J. native made his presence felt during the CACC Tournament as he hit .500 in the two games during the championship series.

The Golden Falcons continue their season on Thursday May 18 in the opening round of the round of the Division II NCAA Tournament. The Generals season kicks off on June 1 as the squad heads to Charlottesville to battle the TomSox.
