Wagner Headed Back to the Commonwealth

WAYNESBORO, Va. – Former Miller School standout Jeremy Wagner is heading to Waynesboro for the 2023 season.

Wagner is currently an outfielder at Towson University where he started 57 games for the Tigers this season. The Crozet, Va. native tallied 13 doubles to go along with three home runs and 22 RBI in his first season after transferring from Austin Peay.

Wagner had a fantastic prep career as he won three straight VISAA Division II titles under his father, and former major leaguer, Billy Wagner. Wagner was also the VISAA Division II Player of the Year at Miller School of Albemarle.

The Generals season starts on June 1 as the Generals head to Charlottesville to battle the TomSox at 7 p.m.
