2013 Waynesboro Generals Valley League Champions T-Shirts Available Now!!!

Initial Inspiration, the exclusive provider of official Generals’ merchandise, has released the 2013 Waynesboro Generals Champion T-Shirt. The white T-Shirt is available in youth sizes (XS-XL) and adult sizes (up to 5X). Waynesboro defeats Strasburg, 6-3, to claim Valley League title

Corey Armentrout gave up one run in five innings on the mound on two days rest, Waynesboro hit three home runs, and reliever Sean Buchholz closed things out with two innings of scoreless relief, lifting the Generals to a 6-3 win over the Strasburg Express in the deciding Game 3 of the Valley League Championship Series on Tuesday.

Give me the ball, coach: Armentrout’s effort one for the ages

Corey Armentrout wanted the ball. That was the building block of the game plan that brought Waynesboro its fifth Valley League Championship. Armentrout, a sophomore at Bridgewater College, approached Generals coach Mike Bocock on Monday as the team was getting ready for Game 2 of the best-of-three VBL Championship Series to let Bocock know that he could give him five or six good innings in Game 3.
