Pair of Raiders Headed to Waynesboro

WAYNESBORO, Va. – A pair of arms from Seminole State College will be joining the Generals for the 2023 season.

 

Ryan Franklin and Connor Hensley will make the trip from central Florida to the Shenandoah Valley this summer.

 

Franklin currently leads the Raiders in wins as the southpaw holds a 5-3 record in 10 appearances. The sophomore holds a 5.44 ERA over 49.2 innings of work. Franklin has struck out 53 hitters, the second highest on the team, and has made nine starts for the Raiders.

 

Hensley comes to Waynesboro by way of Casselberry, Fla. And has made 10 appearances out of the Raiders bullpen this season. The freshman has recorded a 1-1 record and added a save over 22.2 innings pitched.

 

The Generals opwn the 2023 campaign on June 1 in Charlottesville against the TomSox at 7 p.m.
