A Pair of MACU Mustangs Heading to Waynesboro

WAYNESBORO, Va. – Two Mustangs are set to make the trip from Mid-Atlantic Christian University to Waynesboro for the 2023 season.

Alex Miller and Jalyn Lee will make the trip north for the 100th anniversary season of Generals baseball in 2023.

Lee comes to the Shenandoah Valley off of a season where he has seen action in 39 games for the Mustangs and is currently seining for a .368 average. The Smithfield, N.C. native currently leads the team in home runs and RBI. Lee has also seen action on the mound in five games this season and grabbed his only win of the season in a 12-strikeout effort against Christendom in early March.

Miller currently leads the squad in batting average, just a touch ahead of Lee with a .366 clip. The senior from Tampa, Fla. also leads the team in walks and has seen the majority of his action in the outfield. Miller had his best game at the plate back in March as he tallied a 3-for-5 day with five RBI in a win against Florida National University.

The 2023 season is set to begin on June 1 as the Generals make the trip to Charlottesville to battle the TomSox at 7 p.m.
