Generals Add Trio of Arms From Allegany

WAYNESBORO, Va. – Nicholas Berryman, Thomas Putnam and Jack Sullivan will make the trip south from Allegany College of Maryland to join the Generals for the 2023 campaign.

Berryman has made 10 appearances on the mound for the Trojans tallying a 1-2 record along with a save. The St. Petersburg, Fla. native made just one start and went the distance in a 6-1 win against Prince George’s on April 10.

Putnam has appeared in 12 games for Allegany with all but one coming from out of the bullpen. Putnam’s 25 punch outs is tied for fourth on the team with Berryman. A native of Broad View Heights, Ohio,  he has tossed 19.2 innings for the Trojans this spring.

Sullivan has also played in 12 games for the Trojans with all of his appearances coming out of the bullpen. The Orlando, Fla. native grabbed his only decision of the season in a 7-6 win over Hagerstown back in March where he tossed 2.0 innings in relief.

The Generals season starts in just less than a month when the squad makes the trip the Charlottesville to battle the TomSox on June 1.
