Generals open June 3
The Waynesboro Generals open the 2011 season at Rockbridge on Friday, June 3, then return home on Saturday, June 4, for their home opener with the Covington Lumberjacks.
The team has released its 2011 schedule online at WaynesboroGenerals.com. The schedule includes home games with Staunton on June 9, June 21, July 1, July 17 and July 24 and a regular-season finale back at Staunton on July 27.

Three straight years starting on the road and lets make it 3 straight road victories to start the year. Less than 1 month away now and I’m so ready for the season just like the Superfans out there in General-Land. Fans bring as many as you can for the game at Rockbridge and lets packed the place for the 1st home game vs Covington. Revenge is what we want this year in 2011 vs Staunton at John Moxie. Bring as many friends as you can to support our Generals.

The team and the coaches really deserve the support they get. It takes a lot of practice and hard work and also dedication to stick together and make a good team. I,as well as many others, know the Generals will be that team.
